Discover

The first stage in any kind of psychological treatment is discovery. This consists of a thorough assessment, which when done well, includes not only the initial sessions with a therapist, but also the completion of relevant surveys.

 

Recover

Whilst recovery often begins during the discover phase, this is the point where sessions shift their focus from assessment to treatment, from discovery to recovery.
